The Village of Buisson

Buisson such a nice little village in the "hautes provence" in the foothill of Mont Ventoux (270 inhabitants in winter, much more in the sommer). located in the Vaucluse , overlooking the wunderfull valley of the Aygues, at about 100 km from the mediterranean it is surrunded of an abundant nature , vineyards, lavender fields, fruit  and pine trees .  Véson La Romaine ist at only  9km, Avignon at about 30 km.
It is within minutes of fabulous local markets for textiles, furnitures and "art de la table", brocantes, vides greniers, antiquaire, as well as the ateliers of local painters, sculptors and potters. You can make wunderful bike rides amoung  Roman ruins, breathtaking landscapes,  stop at astonishingly good restaurants, make all the wine tasting of the fabulous wineries of the Côte du Rhône in caves and domains like Gigondas,Vacqueras, Beaume de Venise, Cairanne, Châteauneuf du pape etc...
Or you can also practice hiking, kayaking and swimming.

The dwellings are grouped around the church "Notre dame des Bois", Lots of signs remember to the time of the Templars Order like the fortress gate, the bell shaped tower, the blasons" everywhere, and campaniles  


























Village perché et dominant la vallée de l'Aygues, entouré de vignobles avec d'excellentes caves « côtes du Rhône »
Gigondas, Vacqueyras.  Les habitations sont regroupées autour de son église du XIIe siècle. Cette position dominante est à l'origine de la création par les templiers d'une commanderie encore protégée par ses remparts. L'énigme templière, l'église « Notre Dame del Bois » et son clocher en forme de tour . Le campanile et le blason d'ocre rouge papal ainsi que la porte fortifiée témoignent d'une cité millénaire.
